    • Click Continue to proceed.

  4. Download Your Archive:
    • Facebook will notify you via email when the archive is ready.

Instagram Data

  1. Navigate to Download Section:
    • Open Settings > Your Activity > Download Your Information.
    • Alternatively, use the Accounts Center under Your Information and Permissions.
  2. Choose Data Format:
    • Select Download to Device or Transfer to Destination.
    • Define the date range, file format, and media quality.
  3. Submit Request:
    • Instagram will notify you when your data is ready to download. You’ll have four days to access it.

Deleting Your Accounts

Delete Facebook

  1. Log In:
    • Access Settings & Privacy > Settings.
    • Go to Accounts Center > Personal Details.

    • Go to the Accounts Center and click Deactivation or Deletion.
  2. Select Account:
    • Choose the Instagram account to delete.
  3. Confirm Action:
    • Click Delete Account, then confirm.
  4. Grace Period:
    • You can sign back up with the same username (if available) after deletion is finalized.

Delete Threads

  1. Visit Threads.net:
    • Log in via a web browser.
  2. Access Settings:
    • Click the Settings option from the menu.
  3. Delete Profile:
    • Go to Account > Deactivate or Delete Profile.
    • Select Delete Profile, then confirm.
  4. Waiting Period:
    • Deletion requests take 30 days, and you must wait 90 days to reuse the same Instagram account for Threads.

Key Considerations

  • Permanent Deletion: Deleted accounts cannot be recovered.
  • Grace Periods: Facebook and Instagram offer short windows to cancel deletion requests.
  • Data Privacy: Once accounts are deleted, associated data is permanently removed from Meta’s systems.

By following these steps, you can ensure a smooth transition away from Meta’s platforms while safeguarding your personal information.
