KCB Bank Introduces Unsecured Loans up to UGX 250 Million for Customers

KCB Bank has unveiled a new loan offering that allows its customers to access loans of up to UGX 250 million without the need for collateral such as land titles or car logbooks, the financial institution announced.

These loans, featuring repayment periods of up to 84 months, boast competitive interest rates starting as low as 17.5%. According to the bank, funds can be disbursed within 48 hours upon request, provided that applicants meet the stipulated requirements.

In introducing the new loan package, Miranda Bageine Musoke, Head of Retail Banking at KCB Bank Uganda, emphasized the bank’s commitment to empowering Ugandans by facilitating access to financing for personal and business ventures.

“KCB Bank is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our customers, which is why we continually innovate and offer financial products that are easily accessible to many,” Musoke stated.

“Our valued customers drive our efforts to provide top-notch services tailored to foster both personal and business development. To qualify for the unsecured personal loan, applicants must demonstrate a steady income and maintain an active KCB Bank Uganda account for a minimum of 3 months, which can be utilized to cover various expenses ranging from business to personal needs.”

Officials noted that the introduction of this new loan package aligns with the government’s objectives to promote socio-economic growth and improve the overall standard of living for Ugandans nationwide.
