Swangz Avenue to start local film production

Local production house and music label Swangz Avenue has expanded their portfolio by venturing into film production in Uganda.

Since its establishment, Swangz Avenue has been one of the leading Audio and Video Production Companies in Kampala, Uganda and East Africa, also specializing in TV Commercial production, Events Promotion and Talent Management.

The news was broken by one of the majority shareholders and in house producer Benon Mugunbya yesterday.

Benon revealed that they are exited and passionate the new venture adding that Swangz Avenue will be shooting and producing local films that Ugandans can relate to.

He further revealed that they have already shot an internal short movie that is to be released next month though he did not give details regarding the actors that featured in it it what it is about.

Swangz Avenue is owned by businessman Julius Kyazze together with former singer Benon.

It is known for discovering talented musicians including Vinka, Winnie Nwagi, Irene Ntale and their latest discovery Azawi.
