China’s President Xi Jinping announced a $1.4 billion development fund for SCO states and proposed a new SCO development bank, signaling the bloc’s ambition to rival global institutions.

At the Modi Putin SCO Summit, Ukraine dominated the diplomatic agenda. Modi reaffirmed India’s call for peace and diplomacy, noting that dialogue remains the only solution.
