UNEB 2025 Exams: Official Timetable Released

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has officially released the UNEB 2025 Exams timetables for the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE). These schedules are crucial for students, schools, and parents preparing for the upcoming exam season.

Key Exam Dates and Preparation

Examinations will kick off on October 10, 2025, with the briefing of UCE candidates. The PLE is scheduled to begin on October 31, while UACE exams will start on November 7. UNEB has emphasized that schools must provide each student with a copy of the timetable and display it on noticeboards to ensure transparency and effective preparation.

Support for Special Needs Education Candidates

To cater to visually impaired candidates, UNEB has produced braille versions of the UCE and UACE timetables. This inclusive measure ensures that all learners, regardless of their needs, have equal access to essential exam information.

Guidance from UNEB Officials

UNEB Executive Director Dan Odongo urged both schools and students to take the timetable seriously, highlighting that it forms an essential part of the examination process. “Heads of Centres can access timetables from school portals, and enough printed copies are available for distribution to all learners,” Odongo stated.

Preparation and Accessibility

With the second assessment of UCE candidates under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), UNEB encourages students to familiarize themselves with the timetable and plan their studies accordingly. Schools are also reminded to ensure every candidate receives accurate information to avoid last-minute confusion.

Students can now access the timetable online and prepare for a successful 2025 exam season. For applications or further details, visit the official UNEB website.
