Housing Finance Bank has expanded its footprint with three new branches in Nansana, Masaka, and Soroti, bringing banking services closer to communities across Uganda. The expansion strengthens the bank’s mission of financial inclusion and long-term community empowerment.
For many residents, accessing financial services often meant long travel and extended queues. Now, with these branches in place, customers can manage their money within their neighborhoods. Moreover, the initiative reduces barriers to banking and gives people greater control over personal and business finances.
Doreen Nyiramugisha, Head of Marketing and Communications at Housing Finance Bank, emphasized the vision. “Our expansion into Nansana, Masaka, and Soroti is more than just about opening branches. It is about opening doors of opportunity. These new touchpoints symbolize our promise to stand with Ugandans in their journey to own, grow, and transform their financial futures,” she explained.
At the new branches, customers can access savings and current accounts, mortgages, personal and business loans, investment products, and advisory services. In addition, the bank’s digital platforms complement in-person banking, ensuring customers transact seamlessly online.
The locations were carefully chosen for their growth potential. Nansana, which previously had only a service centre, now enjoys a full branch. As a result, residents and businesses in this fast-growing town can bank more easily. Masaka, a hub for trade and commerce, benefits from a modern branch that supports both entrepreneurs and individuals. Meanwhile, Soroti residents and local business owners now have direct access to the tools they need to grow and manage their finances effectively.
Furthermore, the development reflects Housing Finance Bank’s mission to deliver efficient, innovative, and customer-focused services. By investing in underserved areas, the bank is not only increasing accessibility but also creating long-term impact for communities.
The new branch addresses are as follows:
- Masaka: Plot 94 Birch Avenue, Laston Hotel Building, Masaka City
- Soroti: Plot 67 Gweri Road, Soroti Main Street
- Nansana: Jajja Manjeri Building, Nansana Division, Wakiso District
Overall, this expansion demonstrates Housing Finance Bank’s determination to combine innovation with accessibility, efficiency with convenience, and a customer-first approach with nationwide impact. With these Housing Finance Bank branches, financial inclusion in Uganda takes another significant step forward.
