Rajiv’s Dream for ‘Inara Tower’ to Be Fulfilled, Says Mother Jyotsna Ruparelia

Kampala, Uganda – May 7, 2025 — In a powerful and emotional tribute during her son’s cremation ceremony, Jyotsna Ruparelia, mother to the late businessman Rajiv Ruparelia, vowed to bring to life one of his cherished dreams — the construction of Inara Tower, named after his only daughter.

“You wanted an Inara Tower for Inara, and that will be our next project,” she declared. “Sudhir and I will take care of Inara, so please rest in peace.”

Mrs. Ruparelia’s words moved mourners, as she reflected on Rajiv’s boundless love for his daughter, his generous spirit, and his vibrant personality. She shared fond memories from his childhood to adulthood — from his mischievous school days to their skiing and golfing adventures.

“I am so proud of you, Rajiv… I remember the restaurants, the clubbing nights, and even your demand for a first-class ticket back to school,” she said, her voice breaking with emotion.

She also praised the exceptional funeral arrangements, thanking friends, government officials, and the community for honoring Rajiv with a memorable send-off that included a high-speed motorcade of rally cars and scooters.

As the family bids farewell to their only son, Jyotsna’s promise to build Inara Tower serves as a lasting tribute to Rajiv’s legacy and love for his daughter.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icx0lg-K6m0
